RESPONDENT PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of Criminal Procedure Code to direct the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Pudukkottai to expedite the trial in Spl.C.C.No.4/2016 within a time frame as may be fixed by this Court. Upon perusing the earlier order of this Court dated 27.07.2017 in CRL OP(MD) No.9758 of 2017 and the requisition letter submitted by the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Pudukkottai vide D.No.302/2018 dated 02.02.2018, this Court made the following order:- In Crl.O.P.(MD) No.9758 of 2017, this Court by order dated 27.07.2017, directed the trial Court to complete the trial in Spl.C.C.No.4 of 2016 within 6 months from the date of receipt of a https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ copy of that order.

2.Learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Pudukkottai has addressed a letter dated 02.02.2018, seeking extension of time by 6 months for completing the trial since the Court is over burdened with Motor Accident Cases and Matrimonial cases.
