[Order of the Court was made by S.NAGAMUTHU, J.] The petitioner has come up with this litigation by way of a Public Interest Litigation, seeking a direction to the respondents 1 to 3 to take appropriate action against the respondents 5 and 6 on the allegation of alleged misappropriation and mismanagement of Solaichery Panchayat.
2. We have heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and we have also perused the records carefully.
3. Except making ipse dixit statement that there was mismanagement and misappropriation of funds, there is no other substantive material available on record to make out even a prima facie case, so as to enable this Court to issue a direction as prayed for. The Writ Petition is, therefore, dismissed. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is also dismissed.
