This petition has been filed, seeking to direct the learned Juvenile Justice Board, Thoothukudi, to accept the surrender of the petitioner and consider his bail application on the same day on merits in relating to Crime No.16 of 2016 on the file of the Inspector of Police, All Women Police Station, Tiruchendur Police Station, Thoothukudi District.
2.The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner has been falsely implicated for the alleged offences under Sections 498(A), 406, 294(b), 506(ii) IPC and https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
Section 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act and Section 4 of Tamil Nadu Prevention of Women Harassment Act, in Crime No.16 of 2016 and that the petitioner is the minor and college going student and if he had been arrested, his carrier will be spoiled and that the parents of the juvenile is ready to give undertaking and file affidavit, if the juvenile is given custody of the parents and therefore, the petitioner has come forward with the present petition for the said prayer.
3.Heard Mr.A.P.Balasubramanian, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side), who took notice for the respondent. 4.Considering the submissions of both sides, this criminal original petition is disposed of with the following direction:- The petitioner is directed to surrender before the Juvenile Justice Board, Thoothukudi, within fifteen days from today and if he filed any bail application in this crime number, learned Juvenile Justice Board, Thoothukudi, is directed to dispose of the application, after giving notice to the concerned police, purely on merits and in accordance with law on the same day itself.
With this observation, this petition is disposed of accordingly.
