This Criminal Original petition is filed for a direction to the respondents not to harass the petitioner under the guise of enquiry.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate(Criminal Side) appearing for the first respondent.

3. It is stated by the petitioner that the petitioner has purchased a Tractor for his agricultural purpose with the financial assistance from a Private Financier, by name, Sri Equipment Finance Private Ltd., Madurai, the second respondent herein.

4. Though it is purely a civil dispute, the learned counsel for the petitioner states that the first respondent police, at the instigation of the second respondent, is harassing the petitioner.

5. The learned Government Advocate(Criminal Side) however on instructions submitted that no complaint was received from the second respondent as against the petitioner and that there is no enquiry or harassment.
