PRAYER :- For Bail in Crime No.68 of 2018 on the file of the respondent police ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner, who was arrested on 09.04.2021 for the offences punishable under Sections 436, 324, 307 & 302 IPC in Crime No.68 of 2018 on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail. 2.The petitioner was absent during the trial in PRC.No.03 of 2019 on the file of the learned District Munsif-cum-Judicial Magistrate, Tiruvadanai, Ramanathapuram District. Therefore, NonBailable Warrant came to be issued and the petitioner was arrested on 09.04.2021.
3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner went abroad for treatment and therefore, he was unable to appear before the Court below and he undertakes that the petitioner shall appear before the Court below regularly on all future hearing dates without fail.

4.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent submitted that the petitioner was absconding for several months and only after issuing Non-Bailable Warrant, he was arrested. He further submitted that A7 in this case is also absconding and therefore, this case is still pending for committal to the Sessions Court.
5.Considering the fact that this case is pending from the year 2018 and one more accused also absconding, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, this criminal original petition is dismissed.
