O R D E R

This Writ Petition had been filed in the nature of a Writ of Mandamus seeking a direction to the second respondent to examine the representation given by the petitioner on 15.03.2023. 2.Heard Mr.S.Vinodh, learned Counsel for the petitioner and Mr.S.Vinayak, learned Counsel for the respondents. 3.It is stated in the affidavit filed in support of this Writ Petition that in the birth certificate, the date of birth of the petitioner had been given as 25.08.1981. The petitioner however claims that he was actually born on 29.05.1981. He has given the aforementioned representation to the second respondent to correct the birth certificate and issue a fresh birth certificate.

4.In this connection, the respondents may examine the Section 15 of Tamil Nadu Registration of Births and Deaths Act and the Rule of 11 of the said Act and issue notice to the petitioner herein, examine other records of the petitioner and pass appropriate orders. Such exercise may 2/4

be completed within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
