PRAYER: Contempt Petition is filed under Section 11 of the Contempt of Courts Act praying to punish the contemnor / respondent for his wanton and willful disobedience to the order dated 05.03.2020 passed by this Court in W.P.(MD) No.3903 of 2020.

Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court Directing the 1st respondent to pass appropriate orders to absorb the petitioners as Road Inspectors in the Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Department as per the proposal Na.Ka.No.14980/12/EE 3 dated 10.8.2013 of the 2nd respondent, from the date of their initial appointment/engagement in the post of Technical Assistant under National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme (NREGS) and grant all the service and monetary benefits within the time limit to be fixed by this Honourable court. O R D E R

This contempt petition has been filed alleging wilful disobedience of the order, dated 05.03.2020, made in W.P.(MD) No.3903 of 2020.

2. The learned Government Counsel appearing for the respondent submitted that the order and directions issued by this Court have been complied with and to that effect he has also produced a copy of the Proceedings of the Principal Secretary to Government, Rural Development and Panchayat Raj (E3) Department, in Letter No.32222/E3/2012-37, dated 05.07.2021.

3. The aforesaid proceedings is taken on record. If the petitioners are still aggrieved, it is open to them to challenge the same in the manner known to law.
