.. Respondents PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C. praying to direct the first respondent to direct the second respondent herein not to harass the petitioners except under due process of law.

O R D E R

This petition has been filed to direct the second respondent herein not to harass the petitioners under the guise of enquiry.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) for the respondents.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioners would submit that the second respondent police frequently called the petitioners and harassed them under the guise of enquiry.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) would submit that at present no petition and no CSR is pending against the petitioners. He would further submit that the petitioners involved in four previous cases and now they are enlarged on bail in those cases. Since no petition is pending against the petitioners, their appearance is not at all required by the respondent police. Hence, there is no scope of harassment as alleged by the petitioners.

5. In view of the above submission made by the learned Government Advocate(Crl. Side), there is no scope of harassment. Hence, this Criminal Original Petition is closed. Sd/- Assistant Registrar(Records) /TRUE COPY/ Sub Assistant Registrar To 1.The Superintendent of Police, Madurai District.
