Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a writ of mandamus, directing the second respondent to issue a "Non Traceable Certificate" to the petitioner in respect of missing sale deed vide Document No.4062/2006, dated 22.11.2006, based on the petitioner's complaint in C.S.R.No.138/2022, dated 07.02.2022, within the time stipulated by this Court.

The Writ Petition has been filed in the nature of Mandamus, seeking a direction to the second respondent to issue a "Non Traceable Certificate" to the petitioner in respect of missing sale deed, vide Document No.4062/2006, dated 22.11.2006, based on the petitioner's complaint in C.S.R.No.138/2022, dated 07.02.2022. 2.The petitioner owned a property comprised in S.No.269/5, measuring to an extent of 0.90.0 Ares, situated at Kalappakadu Village, Aranthangi Taluk, Pudukkottai District. On 07.12.2021, while he was taking xerox copy of the said document, it was found missing. Therefore, he lodged a complaint and he was issued CSR.No.138/202022 on the file of the second respondent. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2
W.P (MD).No. 7734 of 2022 3.In view of the above, the petitioner is directed to issue a fresh public notice and serve a copy of the same before the second respondent. On receipt of the same, the second respondent is directed to follow the guidelines issued by the superior officers and issue non-traceable certificate within a period of two weeks, thereafter. It is also made clear that the second respondent must ensure that the said document, which was registered by document No.4062/2006, dated 22.11.2006, was not deposited for any other purpose by the petitioner.
4.With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
