This Criminal Original Petition is filed seeking a direction to the respondent not to harass the petitioner and his family members.
2. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side), on instructions, would represent that the present petitioner is involved in Cr.No.102 of 2016 on the file of the respondent Police for the offence under Sections 147, 148, 294(b), 323, 324, 379 and 506(ii) of Indian Penal Code and Section 4 of TamilNadu Prohibition of Harassment of Woman Act, 2002 and he is an 'wanted accused'. Hence, the respondent Police is searching for the arrest of the accused.
3. In view of the above stated position, this Court is of the view that the present petition is not maintainable. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. The respondent Police is directed to secure the accused within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
