This Criminal Original petition is filed seeking a direction to the respondent to file final report in Crime No.126 of 2016 on the file of the respondent within a stipulated time that may be fixed by this Court by considering the representation of the petitioner, dated 05.07.2017.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor on instructions submitted that the complaint is about the forgery of Patta.

4. Having regard to the allegations found in the case registered, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor stated that reasonable time is required for completing the investigation. Taking into consideration the submission of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Criminal Original petition is allowed with a direction to the respondent to file final report within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
