O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed seeking direction to the respondents to grant police protection and permission to conduct the Night Lighting Kapadi Competition (Minnoli Kabadi Potty) from 16.06.2018 at 10.p.m., to 17.06.2018 at 11 a.m., in the Mariamman Kovil Thidal on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 30.05.2018 connection with the Amman flowers Kapadi Sports Club, Kuruvankottai, Alangulam Taluk, Tirunelveli District. 2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

3.According to the petitioner, he made representations dated 30.05.2018 to the respondents to grant police protection and permission to conduct the Night Lighting Kapadi Competition (Minnoli Kabadi Potty) from 16.06.2018 at 10.p.m., to 17.06.2018 at 11 a.m., in the Mariamman Kovil Thidal in connection with the Amman flowers Kapadi Sports Club, Kuruvankottai, Alangulam Taluk, Tirunelveli https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

District. As no order has been passed in the said representations, the petitioner has filed this writ petition with the aforesaid prayer.

4.The learned Additional Government pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that the petitioner's representation is still pending with the second respondent. Therefore, this Court may pass appropriate orders to consider the petitioner's representation on merits and in accordance with law.

5.Considering the submission made by both parties, without going into the merits of the case, this Court directs the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 30.05.2018 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law on or before within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The petitioner shall enclose a copy of a representation dated 30.05.2018 along with a copy of this order to the second respondent.

6.This writ petition is disposed of, with the above direction. No costs.
