O R D E R

This petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent police to conclude the investigation and file a charge sheet in Crime No.134 of 2020 on the file of the first respondent police in accordance with law within the time stipulated by this Court.

2. The case of the petitioner is that he was attacked by the accused person, due to political enmity. Hence, he has given a complaint before the respondent police. Based upon the complaint, a case in Crime No.134 of 2020 has been registered for the offence under Sections147, 148, 294(b), 323, 324 and 506(ii0 of I.P.C., and Section 4 of TN Prohibition of Harassment of Women Act, 2002. The case is registered in the year 2020, but it is pending without any progress. Hence, the petitioner approached this Court with the aforesaid relief.

3.The learned Government Advocate(crl.side) would submit that the investigation is going on and he seeks three months time to complete the investigation and file a final report before the concerned Court.

Crl.O.P.(MD)No.6073 of 2021 4.Considering his request, there shall be a direction to the second respondent to conclude the investigation and file a final report in Crime No.134 of 2020 before the competent jurisdictional Court within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. with the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
