O R D E R

The Writ Petition has been filed, praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st respondent to dispose the appeal in na.ka.No.D3/5189/2015, dated 22.04.2015, within the stipulated time.

2. The case of the petitioner is that the disputed properties are situated at Anjupuli Patti Ponnamaravathi Taluk Office in patta No.2341, 1748, 1327, 235, 835, 1040, 1062, 145. The petitioner has been enjoying the said property. When the petitioner verified the revenue records, the name of the petitioner found in the revenue record was changed to the name of adjacent land owner. This mistake was committed during U.D.R.Scheme. Therefore, the petitioner submitted an appeal on 22.04.2015, before the District Revenue Officer, Pudukkottai and the same is not disposed of so far. Hence, the present writ petition.

3. Heard both sides.

4.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and also considering the submissions made on either side, this Court directs 1st respondent, to dispose of the appeal submitted by the petitioner on 22.04.2015, and pass appropriate orders on the same, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks, from the date of https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
