Respondents PRAYER : Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the records pertaining to the impugned order, dated 05.08.2015 in C.No.R2/315/2015, passed by the second respondent and quash the same as illegal and consequently directing the Respondents to conduct fresh physical efficiency test (Reg.No.3403439) to the petitioner for the post of Sub Inspector of Police. This writ petition has been filed by G.Parameswari, challenging the impugned communication, dated 05.08.2015, in C.No.R2/315/2015 disqualifying the petitioner in the physical efficiency test since he committed foul in the long jump. 2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent. 3.It is the claim of the petitioner that when the petitioner has scored 45.5 marks in the written examination, he was allowed to participate in the PMT, ET, PET and Certificate Verification on 04.08.2015. the second respondent and on the same day they measured her height and weight and thereafter, she was permitted to participate in the physical efficiency tests. On 05.08.2015, the officials attached to the respondents called the petitioner to participate in the long jump, she made a foul in the first attempt. Further she was given second attempt to pass through the long jump when she successfully crossed the line in the second attempt. Again the first respondent passed the impugned order.

4.On this basis, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted before this Court that if the first respondent once again permits the petitioner to participate in the physical measurement tests and in the long jump, no one would be prejudiced, but this Court is not able to find any merits in this writ petition, particularly, when the petitioner herself has admitted in the affidavit filed in support of the writ petition that she made a foul in the first attempt, for, the Rule does not permit second chance. 5.This Court is not inclined to consider the challenge made by the petitioner, hence, the writ petition is dismissed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is also dismissed.
