This petition has been filed to direct the respondents not to harass the petitioner in the guise of enquiry.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondents and perused the materials placed on record.

3. It is represented by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) that, on a complaint given by the defacto complainant against this petitioner, petition enquiry is pending before the 3rd respondent.

4. In view of the above, the respondent Police is directed not to harass the petitioner. The petitioner shall co-operate in the enquiry. During the course of enquiry, if any cognizable offence is made out, the respondent police is free to register an FIR and this order shall not be a shield for the petitioner against arrest.
