ORDER

This petition has been filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure praying to direct the respondents to give adequate police protection to the petitioner. 2.It is averred in the petition that the petitioner on various dates has given representations to the respondents. But the respondents have not taken any steps against the rival group of the petitioner and now the life of the petitioner is at risk. Under the said circumstances, the present petition has been filed for getting the relief sought therein.

3.It is seen from the records that on several dates, the petitioner has given representations as well as complaints. But so far, no case has been registered against the alleged rival group of the petitioner.

4.Under the said circumstances, the following direction can be issued against the second respondent viz., the Inspector of Police, Karambakudi Police Station, Pudukkottai District. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

5.In fine, this petition is allowed. The second respondent viz., the Inspector of Police, Karambakudi Police Station, Pudukkottai District is strictly directed to look into the representations/complaints alleged to have been given by the petitioner and proceed further, if any cognizable offence is made out.
