ORDER

With the consent of the learned counsel appearing on either side, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal, even at the stage of admission.

2. I have heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mrs.K.Malathi, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

3. The petitioner seeks reclassification of the subject lands as a public pathway from the present classification as Government poramboke. The petitioner also contend that the fourth respondent in and by the proceedings dated 25.04.2024 has recommended for the classification of the subject lands as a public pathway. 2/5

4. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that the proposal is under consideration before the first respondent.

5. In view of the above, it would suffice to direct the first respondent shall pass orders on the petitioner's request for reclassification, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
