O R D E R

This petition has been filed seeking to transfer the investigation pending before the fourth respondent police in Crime No.29 of 2018 to the second respondent.

2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (crl.side) appearing for the respondents.

3.Even though the petitioner has sought the relief to transfer the investigation in Crime No.29 of 2018 from the file of the fourth respondent to the file of the second respondent, now the learned counsel for the petitioner restricts his prayer to the extent that the investigation of the above said case may be directed to be monitored by the Deputy Superintendent of Police, Ramanathapuram.

4.The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) also submitted that the Deputy Superintendent of Police, Ramanathrapuam can monitor the investigation of the case in Crime No.29 of 2018. 5.In the light of the submissions made by both sides, the Deputy Superintendent of Police, Ramanathapuram is directed to monitor the investigation of the case in Crime No.29 of 2018, conducted by the fourth respondent. Further, the fourth respondent is directed to complete the investigation as expeditiously as possible.

6.With the above direction, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
