Respondents PRAYER : Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C, praying to direct the second respondent herein to consider the representation submitted by the petitioner dated 01.07.2020 and take necessary action to provide necessary police protection to the life and limb of the petitioner and also the petitioner property measuring an extent of 3 Acres situated at Kurunthani Variyanenthal, Sivagangai District.

O R D E R

This petition has been filed seeking direction to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to give police protection for the petitioner's life and limb.

2.The case of the petitioner is that she is the sole heir to her parents. In earlier period, during the life time of the petitioner's father, he got 1/3rd share from the ancestral property and the same was in his possession till his death. After the demise of her father, when at the time the petitioner went to her father's property for cleaning purpose, the respondents 3 to 5 herein asked the petitioner why did you clean those and denied the title having by the petitioner. In this regard, to protect her right, the petitioner herein preferred a complaint before the first respondent police on 01.07.2020 after explaining all the facts and circumstances and she filed this petition for the relief stated supra.

Crl.O.P.(MD)No.7310 of 2020 3.Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the complaint given by the petitioner before the first respondent was assigned with a current paper No.N4252/E/2020, dated 01.07.2020 and thereafter, the same has been forwarded to the second respondent with direction to initiate enquiry. On receipt of the said current paper from the first respondent, the second respondent assigned with petition number as 330/SPG/2020 and after completing enquiry, the same has been closed by the second respondent.

4.In this regard, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 made a submission that if it is found that protection is required, suitable action will be taken. 5.Recording the same, this Criminal Original Petition is closed.
