Today, Mr.M.Ravichandran, Special Sub Inspector of Police, Tirumangalam Police Station, is present before this Court.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (crl. side) for the respondent.

3. The learned Government Advocate, on instructions, submitted that investigation in Crime No.32/2012 was completed and the charge sheet has been filed before the Judicial Magistrate, Tirumangalam on 10.02.2017, but the same has not been taken on file.

4. Recording the same, this petition is closed with a further direction to the learned Judicial Magistrate, Tirumangalam to verify the fact and pass appropriate orders on the charge sheet, if filed, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. If the charge sheet has not been filed, the learned Magistrate may send a report to this Court, so that this Court can

take appropriate contempt action againt the Inspector of Police for misrepresentation.
