O R D E R

The instant writ petition has been filed by a gangman of Tamil Nadu Generation & Distribution Corporation Limited, working at Virudhunagar, challenging the order of transfer to Aamathoor, which is 12 Kilometers away from Virudhunagar.

2. According to the learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner, though it is styled as administrative transfer, his request transfer application is 2/5

pending from 01.01.2024 through Tirunelveli EDC. According to the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, the request transfer application has not been considered and on the other hand, the present impugned order has been passed transferring him to Aamathoor.

3. Considering the fact that the impugned order of transfer is on administrative ground, this Court is not inclined to interfere in the order. However, it is for the respondent authorities to consider the request of the petitioner dated 01.01.2024 to Tirunelveli EDC and pass orders on merits and on the basis of seniority.

4. With the above said observations, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petitions stand closed.
