O R D E R

This Criminal Original petition is filed for a direction to both the respondents to give adequate Police protection to the life and limb of the petitioner as well as his family members on the basis of his representation, dated 05.07.2017.

2. Heard Mr.B.Sukumar, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.K.Anbarasan learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) appearing for the respondents and perused the records.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner himself states that the village festival is likely to be celebrated shortly and therefore, this Court may give a direction to give police protection to the petitioner and his family members, as per the representation of the petitioner, dated 05.07.2017. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4. The above submission itself clearly shows that the intention of the petitioner to approach this Court is something else and he wants to conduct the festival on his own without the intervention of the persons, against whom he has given the complaint.

5. In such circumstances, considering the fact that there exist some dispute, this Court cannot give police protection to the petitioner and his family members for the purpose of enabling the petitioner to conduct the festival. Hence this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
