This Criminal Original petition is filed seeking a direction to the second respondent to file final report in Crime No.5 of 2017, pending on his file.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate(Criminal side) appearing for the respondent.

The learned Government Advocate(Criminal side) on instructions would submit that the case was registered only on 29.04.2017 and the investigation is pending.

4. Having regard to nature of the complaint and the submission made by the learned Government Advocate(Criminal side), this Court is of the view that a direction can be issued to the second respondent to complete the investigation and to file charge sheet within a time frame.

5.Hence, this Criminal Original petition is disposed of with a direction to the second respondent police to complete the investigation and to file charge sheet in Crime No. 5 of 2017, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of the copy of this order.
