Respondents Prayer: Writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, for the issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents herein to survey and measure petitioner's property and issue a Separate Patta comprised in Survey No.275/2A and to fix boundary stones situated at Appaneri Village, Kuruvikulam Union, Kovilpatti (Taluk), Thoothukudi (Dist.) by considering petitioner's representation, dated 25.03.2021, within the time fixed by this Court.

ORDER
This Writ petition has been filed for the issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to consider the representation made by the petitioner, on 25.03.2021, wherein, the petitioner has sought for the survey of the subject property and for issuance of a separate patta in the name of the petitioner, with respect to the subject property.
2.The case of the petitioner is that the property was originally owned by her sister and she executed a settlement deed in favour of the petitioner by a registered document, dated 07.12.2020. 1/3
The petitioner thereafter, made a representation to the respondents by paying the necessary charges and sought for the survey of the subject property and for the issuance of the patta in his name. Since the same was not considered, the present writ petition has been filed before this Court, seeking for appropriate directions. 3.Heard Mr.V.Selvakumar, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.B.Bhagawathy, learned Government Advocate, for the respondents. 4.Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the limited relief sought for in this writ petition, there shall be a direction to the respondents to consider the representation made by the petitioner, on 25.03.2021 and take necessary decision, strictly in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.The petitioner is directed to make a fresh representation to the respondents along with all the relevant documents and a copy of this order.
6.This writ petition is disposed of with the above directions. No costs.
