O R D E R

The writ petitioner filed this Writ Petition seeking for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to grant permission and necessary protection to conduct the Adal Padal Programme on 17.04.2023 at 08.00 pm to 11.00 pm in connection with Thiru Vizha of Arulmigu Sri Vinayagar, Sri Mariamman, Sri Pambalamman Thirukovil, Kallai Village, Kulithalai Taluk, Karur District.

2. Mr.P.Kottai Chamy, learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) takes notice for the respondents. By consent, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3. The second respondent Police is present before this Court and stated that in the neighboring village, when the similar program was arranged, there was trouble arose between two rival groups. So the representation that was made by the petitioner is kept pending.

4. The second respondent herein is directed to issue summon to the petitioner and as well as the rival parties and to complete the enquiry 2/4

process within a week, from the date of appearance of the parties. Depending upon the outcome of the above said enquiry, further steps may be taken either by the petitioner or by the competent authority.

5. With the above direction, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
