This Criminal Original petition is filed for a direction to the 2nd respondent not to interfere the civil dispute between the petitioner and the 3rd respondent till the outcome of verdict in O.S.No.218 of 2017 on the file of the Sub Judge, Theni.

2. Heard Mr.R.Surianarayanan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.K.Anbarasan, learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) appearing for the respondents 1 to 2.

3. The petitioner has filed a suit in O.S.No.218 of 2017, for declaration of title and permanent injunction. It appears that with reference to some dispute, a complaint has been given by the third respondent against the petitioner. This complaint is not only about the civil dispute but also about the offence of threatening the defacto complainant with dire consequences in relation to the civil dispute.

In said circumstances, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) on instructions would submit that the petitioner was called upon for enquiry in connection with the compliant given by the third respondent against the petitioner and that there was no harassment. He further submitted that the respondent police need not harass the petitioner and indulge in such things.
