O R D E R

This petition has been filed to direct the Respondent Nos.1 & 2 to provide adequate and necessary protection to the petitioner for cutting down the trees standing in the petitioner's land comprised in Survey No.299/5, on the basis of the representation dated 11.01.2017.

2.On perusal of the order passed by the Tahsildar, Usilampatti Taluk, it is seen that one Pandiammal, W/o.Murugan, is the owner of the property comprised in Survey No.299/5. But, this petition is filed by one Murugan, who is the husband of the said Pandiammal.

3. Since the present petition is not filed by the owner of the property, the same is not maintainable. Hence, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
