ORDER

Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.N.Manoharan, learned Special Government Pleader who takes notice on behalf of the respondent. By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage. 2.The petitioner seeks for a Mandamus directing the respondent to issue patta in his name in respect of the property in S.No.335/7 to an extent of 56 cents, Madakulam Village, Madurai District. 3.It is seen that the petitioner has already approached the respondent by way of his representation dated 15.10.2014 seeking for issuance of such patta. It is further stated that the said representation is still pending and not yet disposed of.

4.Therefore, it is for the respondent to consider and decide the request of the petitioner on merits and in accordance with law. Consequently, the writ petition is disposed of only with a direction to the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 15.10.2014 and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
