RESPONDENT/RESPONDENT Petition filed praying that in the circumstances stated therein and in the petition filed therewith the High Court may be pleased to amend the Crime Number as Cr.No.17 of 2021 and Penal Provisions as 498(A),406 of IPC and 4 of Tamil Nadu Prohibition of Harassment of Women Act and 3(1),4,6 of Dowry Prohibition Act 1961 in the main petitioner for Anticipatory bail in CRL OP(MD)No.5138 of 2021 pending on the file of the Hon'ble Court.

Order : This petition coming up for orders on this day, upon perusing the petition filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of Mr.ANAND R, Advocate for the petitioner and of Mr.R.EROTTUCHAMY, Government Advocate (Crl.side) on behalf of the Respondent, the Court made the following order:- Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that during pendency of the main petition, FIR has been registered in Crime No.17 of 2021 for the offence under Sections 498(A), 406 I.P.C, Section 4 of Tamil Nadu Prohibition of Harassment of Women Act, 2002 and Section 3(1), 4 and 6 of Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961. Hence, he seeks amendment in the main original petition.

2.In view of the above, this amendment petition is allowed. Registry is directed to carry out the necessary amendment in the main petition.

3.Mr.Arunswaminathan, learned counsel wants to file an intervene application for the defacto complainant. 4.Post the matter after vacation.

5.Interim order already granted by this Court is extended till then.
