ORDER
This Criminal Original Petition has been filed, invoking Section 482 Cr.P.C., seeking orders to direct the 3rd respondent to file the final report in Crime No.407 of 2011 on the file of the respondent No.3 police station within the time frame fixed by this Court.
2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.
3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent would submit that based on the complaint lodged by the petitioner, the respondent police registered an FIR in Crime No.407 of 2011, in which, Final Report has been filed.
4. Even though the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the Final Report has been filed as un-detected, no such closure is permissible under law. The respondents ought to have kept the matter 2/4
pending. But however, the above said report has been submitted before the concerned Court. It appears that more than 65 sovereigns of gold is involved in the above said theft and the petitioner is having a female girl, yet to be married. Let the petitioner file a protest petition before the trial Court after receiving the above said closure report.
5. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
