ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 12.10.2016, for the offence punishable under Section 489 (b) and 489(c) of IPC., in Crime No.25 of 2016, on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner while trying to change the counterfeit note in a tea stall, handed over to the respondent and subsequently, he was arrested.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is an innocent and he has been falsely implicated in this case.

4. The learned Government Advocate (crl.side) for the respondent would submit that the petitioner is the sole accused in this case and the respondent recovered two number of Rs.500/- fake notes from the petitioner and the investigation is still pending. He would further submit that the petitioner is a native of West Bengal. 5.Considering the above facts and circumstances of the case and also considering the fact that the investigation is still pending and the petitioner is native of West Bengal, this Court is not https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, this petition is dismissed.
