RESPONDENT/COMPLAINANT For Petitioners : MR.V.SASIKUMAR, Advocate For Respondent : MR.A.ROBINSON, Government Advocate (Crl.Side) PETITION FOR ANTICIPATORY BAIL Under Sec. 438 Cr.P.C. ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioners apprehending arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 147, 294(b), 498(A), 302 of I.P.C and Section 4 of Tamil Nadu Dowry Prohibition Act in Crime No.543 of 2017, seek anticipatory bail. 2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) for the respondent. 3.The learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) submitted that the petitioners' names are set out in the FIR and the second petitioner's earlier application for anticipatory bail was dismissed by this Court.

This Court is able to notice that the deceased Srividya died on account of having been set fire by her husband. Admittedly, the petitioner has not connected with the said occurrence. Their names, have been implicated mere in connection with dowry demand. Hence, this Court is of the view that the petitioners were not connected with the occurrence in person. 4.Therefore, taking into account of these circumstances, this Court is inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners with certain conditions. Accordingly, the petitioners are ordered to be released on bail in the event of arrest or on their appearance https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.

before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Sivagnagai and on their executing a bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only) with two sureties each for a like sum to the satisfaction of the learned Magistrate concerned and on further condition that the petitioners shall appear before the respondent police as and when required for interrogation. The petitioners shall comply with the conditions stipulated under Section 438 Cr.P.C. scrupulously. 5.The petitioners shall appear before the concerned Magistrate within a period of 15 days from the date on which the order copy made ready, failing which, the petition for anticipatory bail shall stand dismissed.
