Respondents Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the Respondents to release the Petitioner's Vehicle of Bharat Benz Tipper Lorry bearing Registration Number TN 73 M 9474 from the custody of the respondents in respect of Crime No.129 of 2021 dated on 24.05.2021 to the petitioner by considering the Petitioner's representation dated 01.02.2022 within the time limit that may be stipulated by this Hon'ble Court.

ORDER

(Made by R.VIJAYAKUMAR,J.) The present writ petition has been filed to release a vehicle which was seized by the respondent Police under the Mines and Minerals (Development and Regulation) Act, 1957.

2. As per the averments made in the writ petition, the vehicle has not yet been produced before the jurisdictional Judicial Magistrate. However, learned Special Government Pleader submits that, the vehicle has already been produced before the Judicial https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

W.P(MD)No.7631 of 2022 Magistrate-III, Thanjavur, on 03.01.2022. The petitioner is at liberty to approach the concerned Judicial Magistrate for release of vehicle.
