ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed by the petitioner on 19.03.2025 under Section 482 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS), 2023, praying to grant an order of pre-arrest bail.

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side), on instructions, submitted that the respondent police had originally registered a case under Section 194 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023, which was subsequently altered to Section 108 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023, and Section 4 of the Tamil Nadu Prohibition of Charging Exorbitant Interest Act, 2003.

3. In view of the above submission, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission of this Court to withdraw this petition. To that effect, he has made an endorsement in the case file. The scanned reproduction of the endorsement is as follows:
