This Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of the Criminal Procedure Code, to direct the 2nd respondent not to harass the petitioner without following due process of law. 2.Heard Mr.B.Jameel Arasu, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.K.Anbarasan, learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondents.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner enquired some information through RTI pointing out certain irregularities committed by the Executive Officer of the Town Panchayat of Ammayanaickanoor and others regarding the allotment under the Green House Scheme. Subsequently, the petitioner was threatened by some henchmen of the Executive Officer of the Town Panchayat and others against whom, he had pointed out the irregularities. In this connection, the petitioner has given a complaint about the threat made by the said persons. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Thereafter, he approached this Court.

4. From the reading of the complaint, which was given by the petitioner, dated 03.07.2017, there was no allegations made against the respondent police about harassment. However, the petitioner has preferred the above petition as if he was put to harassment by the respondent police. Prima facie, this Court is of the view that the petitioner has not come with clean hands.

5. However, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) on instructions, would submit that no complaint has been received by anyone against the petitioner and there was no scope for any enquiry or harassment.

6. Recording the said statement, this Criminal Original Petition is closed.
