ORDER

This petition is filed seeking direction to the respondents 2 and 3 to complete the preliminary enquiry upon the complaint dated 16.04.2021 filed by the petitioner within the time stipulated by this Court.

2.The petitioner is the father of the victim girl and he made a complaint on 16.04.2021 about the kidnap. In spite of that passage of time, no proper enquiry has been conducted. Hence, this petition. 3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) appearing for the respondents would submit that based upon the complaint given by this petitioner, a case in Crime No.133 of 2021 under woman missing was registered on 12.03.2021 and based upon the investigation, further action drop report was filed before the concerned Court. 4.During the course of investigation, it was found that the daughter of the petitioner was in love with one Puvaneshwaran and against the wishes of the petitioner and relatives, she performed https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

Crl.O.P.(MD) No.13984 of 2021 marriage on 11.03.2021. This fact was also informed to the petitioner, based upon which, the present complaint has been registered. Seeking protection, she gave a representation to the Ottanchatram All Women Police Station on 12.03.2021, in which, this petitioner was also enquired. Finding that on the date of the marriage, the victim was major, no further action was taken. 5.Since further action drop report has been filed before the concerned Court, if he is aggrieved, the petitioner can workout his remedy appropriately through appropriate proceedings. 6.With the aforesaid liberty and direction, this petition stands dismissed as infructuous.
