The Writ Petition has been filed, praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent No.2, to provide Drinking Water Connection to the petitioner's hosue, at No.26B/10, Kasthuribai Nagar, 1st Street, Melur, Madurai District, within the time stipulated by this Court.
2.The case of the petitioner is that he is residing at No.26B/10, Kasthuribai Nagar, 1st Street, Melur, Madurai District. He applied for Drinking Water Connection to the 2nd respondent. He has also paid necessary amount for the same. Thereafter, on 01.09.2014, the 2nd respondent office personnel visited the petitioner's house, for providing drinking water connection. In fact, on 01.09.2015, the work was started, but they have not https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
completed the work so far. Hence, the petitioner has come forward with this present writ petition.
3. I have heard the submissions made on either side and perused the materials available on record.
4.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and also considering the submissions made on either side, this Court directs the petitioner to give a fresh representation to the 2nd respondent, along with a copy of this order, within a period of one week, from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. On receipt of such representation, the 2nd respondent is directed to consider the same and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks, thereafter.
5. With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
