4.The General Manager, : Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to stop all the buses which are plying under the control of respondents 3 and 4 for tacking up and setting down passengers at Chithamparaburam bus stop and Kalugachalpuram bus stop and subsequently direct the respondents 1 and 2 to erect a sign board in Sign No.M.36 (Compulsory bus stop) of mandatory signs of scheduled of Motor Vehicles Act, 1988 and consequently direct the respondents to monitor that the buses are halt at Chithamparaburam and Kalugachalpuram village bus stops based on the proceedings of the fourth respondent issued in LR.No.UTMTCN/AM(COM)/TNSTC/TNV/2021 dated 11.09.2023. O R D E R

************ [Order of the Court was made by D.KRISHNAKUMAR, J.] The learned Standing Counsel for the respondent Corporation would submit that already instructions have been given to the drivers who are operating the buses in the said route to stop the buses in the aforesaid villages.

2.Recording the statement made by the learned Standing Counsel for the respondent Corporation, this Writ Petition is disposed of, with a direction to the respondent Corporation to issue further instructions to the drivers concerned within a period of two [2] weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and if they are not complying with the said instructions necessary action shall be taken against those drivers.

3.Accordingly, this writ petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
