COMMON PRAYER: Writ Petitions filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writs of Mandamus to direct the respondents 1 to 3 to provide emergency leave (parole) to petitioner's brothers namely Ilayaraja (CP No.6191) Micheal Muniyandi (CP No.6194) who were confined in the 3rd respondent prison to attend the Ear piercing function of petitioner's daughters namely Madura Kavi and Desiya Davi at Maaranadu Karupasamy Kovil on 05.04.2024 based on the representation dated 19.03.2024 within the time limit stipulated by this Court. ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by A.D.JAGADISH CHANDIRA, J.) These petitions have been filed to direct the respondents 1 to 3 to grant emergency leave (parole) to petitioner's brothers namely Ilayaraja (CP No.6191) Micheal Muniyandi (CP No.6194) who were confined in the 3rd respondent prison to attend the Ear piercing function of petitioner's daughters namely Madura Kavi and Desiya Davi at Maaranadu Karupasamy Kovil on 05.04.2024 based on the representation dated 19.03.2024.

2. When the writ petitions were taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the representation of the petitioner was rejected by the third respondent vide order dated 28.03.2024.
