Respondents PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a writ of habeas corpus calling for the entire records pertaining to the proceedings of the first respondent made in his proceedings in Cr.M.P.No.48, dated 27.05.2020 and quash the same and direct the respondents to produce the body or person of the detenu by name "Karthik", S/o.Settu aged about 29 years now detained as "Boot-legger" in Central Prison, Tiruchirapalli before this Court and set him at liberty forthwith.

[Order of the Court was made by K.KALYANASUNDARAM, J.] This Habeas Corpus Petition is filed challenging the order of detention passed in Cr.M.P.No.48/2020, dated 27.05.2020, by the first respondent.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor on instructions submitted that the Government itself has revoked the order of detention by the order in G.O.Rt.No.3074, Home, Prohibition & Excise (XI1) Department, dated 23.07.2020. He has also produced the copy of the said Government Order.

3. In view of the above, this Habeas Corpus Petition is closed as no further order is necessary.
