Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent to consider and pass orders on the petitioner's representation dated 19.03.2022 to reclassify the land measuring to an extent of 10 cents comprised in Old Survey No.134/3 and New Survey No.285 situated at Mutharasanallur Village, Srirangam Taluk, Trichy District and mutate the revenue records including patta in his favour and in favour of his brother, namely, Balaji. *********** The petitioner seeks for re-classification of land under his representation dated 19.03.2022. The said representation has not been considered till date. In such circumstances, he has filed this writ petition.

2.No prejudice would be caused to the first respondent if the petitioner's representation is considered on merits and in accordance with law after affording a fair hearing to the petitioner and other necessary parties whom the first respondent deems fit to enquire.

W.P.[MD]No.7704 of 2022 3.According to the petitioner, he came to know that the first respondent during UDR survey changed the classification of the land measuring 10 cents comprised in Old Survey No.134/3 and New Survey No.285 situated at Mutharasanallur Village, Srirangam Taluk, Trichy District, as a road. Under those circumstances, the petitioner has given the aforementioned representation. The respondents will have to consider the same on merits and in accordance with law based on the documents produced by the petitioner.

4.For the foregoing reasons, this Court directs the first respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 19.03.2022 seeking for re-classification of the land measuring an extent of 10 cents comprised in Old Survey No.134/3 and New Survey No.285 situated at Mutharasanallur Village, Srirangam Taluk, Trichy District and pass final orders on merits and in accordance with law after affording a fair hearing to the petitioner and any other necessary party whom the first respondent deems fit to enquire including granting them the right of personal hearing within a period of four [4] months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
