This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the learned Sessions Judge, Mahila court, Tiruchirappalli to conclude the trial in S.C No. 149 of 2024 within the time fixed by this Court. 2.According to the petitioner, she is the defacto complainant and victim in this case and based on her complaint, the FIR in Crime No.3 of 2024 was registered. Thereafter, the first respondent filed the final report and the same was taken on file in S.C.No.149 of 2024. But till now, no trial has been commenced. Hence this petition. 3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police would submit that a petition has been filed before this Court seeking to quash the proceedings in S.C.No.149 of 2024 and the same is pending in Crl.O.P(MD)No.SR 42801 of 2024. The case in S.C.No.149 of 2024 is pending for framing of charges. The respondent police will co-operate for speedy disposal of the case by producing the witnesses as directed by the trial Court.

4.Considering the limited scope of the prayer sought for in this petition and the case is pending at the stage of framing of charges from the year 2024, the trial Court is directed to dispose of the case in S.C.No. 149 of 2024 as early as possible, without granting long adjournments beyond fifteen days, subject to any stay order granted by this Court in Crl.O.P(MD)No.SR 42801 of 2024.

5.With the above direction, this criminal original petition is disposed of.
