Respondents PRAYER: Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 3rd respondent to dispose of the representation of the petitioner dated 22.11.2014 seeking to enter the name of legal heirs of late Jambulingam Chettiar in the revenue accounts in respect of properties situate at 173/1B1, Melaseedevi Mangalam Village, Manachanallur Taluk, Trichy District. For Petitioner : Mr.J.Maria Roseline For Respondents : Mr.S.Kumar, AGP for R1 to 4

ORDER

The Writ petition has been filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 3rd respondent to dispose of the representation of the petitioner dated 22.11.2014, seeking to enter the name of one late Jambulingam Chettiar as legal heir in the revenue accounts in respect of properties situate at 173/1B1, Melaseedevi Mangalam Village, Manachanallur Taluk, Trichy District.

2.Mr.S.Kumar, learned Additional Government Pleader took notice for the respondents 1 to 4. By consent, the Writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that it would be suffice, if the representation of the petitioner dated 22.11.2014 is disposed of, on merits and in accordance with law. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4.The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 4 would submit that the representation of the petitioner will be considered in accordance with law and on merits. 5.In view of the above, without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner in this Writ Petition, the 3rd respondent is directed to pass appropriate orders on the representation of the petitioner, dated 22.11.2014, on merits and in accordance with law, after giving notice to the respondents 5 to 8 and also other necessary parties, if any, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
