O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to provide police protection for her life and limp enabling her to harvest the crops.

2.The learned Counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is the owner of the property and the third respondent is the erstwhile lessee of the property. Due to arrears of lease amount, already the petitioner approached the revenue authorities and they also passed order and the third respondent was evicted from the property in accordance with law and the property was handed over to the petitioner. In spite of that, the third respondent now attempting to restrain the petitioner from harvesting the crops. Therefore, the petitioner sent the representation to the respondents 1 and 2 seeking police protection, but the same has not been considered. Hence this petition. 3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police would submit that no representation was received from the petitioner as alleged by her and no any documents filed by the 2/5

petitioner to show that she sent a representation to the respondents 1 and 2.

4.Considering the limited scope of the prayer sought for in this petition, this Court, without even issuing notice to the private respondent, is inclined to pass order.

5.According to the petitioner, she sent the representation dated 24.02.2025 to the respondents 1 and 2 seeking police protection but the same has not been considered. The second respondent denied the receipt of the petitioner's representation and also submitted that the petitioner has not produced any documents to prove the receipt of the said representation. However, so far the second respondent has not received the petitioner's representation.

6.Today, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) received a copy of the petitioner's representation from this Court. Therefore, the second respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's representation and take appropriate decision within a period of fifteen days, after affording opportunity to both the parties, in accordance with law. 3/5

7.With the above direction, this criminal original petition is disposed of.
