ORDER

The writ petition has been filed in the nature of mandamus, seeking direction to survey the lands of the petitioner and mark boundary. For that the petitioner had paid a sum of Rs.4,000/- through e-challan on 20.05.2022. He had also given a representation on 14.03.2023. Since no steps had been taken by the respondents, the present writ petition has been filed.

2.The petitioner had purchased a land at S.No.392/10A in patta No.1225 at Veppalodi Village, North Kalmedu Village, Villathikulam Sub Registrar Office, Thoothukudi District.

3.A direction is given to the second respondent/Thasildar, Ottapidram Tahsildar Office, Ottapidram Taluk, Thoothukudi District to examine the representation given by the petitioner on 14.03.2023 and also 2/4

examine the fact that the petitioner had paid necessary charges, if so, proceed further, if there are no objection from anybody or else if there are any objection, reasons may be given as to why the survey could not be conducted. The said exercise should be completed within a period of twelve weeks, from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4.With the above directions, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
