2. This Criminal Original Petition is filed seeking a direction to direct the learned Sessions Judge cum P.C.R. Court, Sivagangai to accept the surrender of the petitioners and consider the bail application on the same day in connection with the Crime No. 57 of 2016 on the file of the respondent police.
3. On Perusal of the records, its is seen that this case is filed under the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Amendment Ordinance Act, 2014. The concerned Inspector of Police is only added as a party in this petition. But the concerned Deputy Superintendent of Police is only the competent authority to investigate the case and he is not added as a party in this petition.

4. In view of the above, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
