ORDER

Heard both sides.

2.The petitioner's fishing boat has been anchored at Colachel fishing harbour. It appears that the said vessel had developed some mechanical defect. The petitioner is not entitled to anchor his vessel in the said place. The petitioner has therefore been called upon to remove the same. The order was passed as early as on 14.03.2024. More than a month has lapsed. The petitioner is given exactly fifteen days from today ie., 18.04.2024 to take away the vessel. If the petitioner fails to do so, on the sixteenth day from today, it is open to the respondents to take such action as is open to them in law. The impugned order is sustained and extension of time is also granted to the petitioner.

3.This writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed. 18.04.2024 NCC : Yes/No Index : Yes / No Internet : Yes/ No ias Issue order copy on 25.04.2024.
