Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, direct 1st respondent to issue Kattu Nayakkan Scheduled Tribes Community Certificate to the petitioners sons namely Manikandan Mohan and Santhosh and his brother namely Manikandan on the basis of the petitioners application dated 31.07.2015.

For Petitioner : No appearance For Respondents : Mr.M.Alagadevan, Special Government Pleader.

ORDER

2.The relief sought for by the petitioner is to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 31.07.2015 for grant of Kattu Nayakkan ST community certificate to the petitioner's sons namely, Mohan and Santhosh and his brother namely, Manikandan. 2.Mr.M.Alagadevan, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that unless and until, the application is given in a prescribed format, it would not be considered. 3.In view of the said submission made by the learned Special Government Pleader, the petitioner is directed to furnish the application in the prescribed format to the second respondent for considering his claim in accordance with law. On receipt of the said application, the said authority shall consider the same as expeditiously as possible, preferably, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4.With the above observation, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
