This Criminal Original Petition is filed by the petitioner challenging the final report in S.T.C.No.2423 of 2020 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate No.II, Madurai.

2. Mr.M.Sakthi Kumar, Government Advocate (Crl.side), on instructions, would contend that the respondent police had filed a petition to withdraw the case of the prosecution under Section 321 Cr.P.C and the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Madurai also granted permission to withdraw the prosecution and accordingly, the case was disposed of on 13.08.2022.
